Central TET(CTET) exam Notification for January 2024

Central Teacher Eligibility Test(CTET) notification has been released for January 2024. As you know the CTET exam is organized twice a year, and it is an essential exam in the point of the Teaching job. When a candidate wants to be a teacher in India, he/she must have a qualified Central Teacher Eligibility Test. Also, you should have known that It has two different papers. For the primary level(I-V) Paper I and Paper II for Upper Primary Level School teachers. A candidate can participate in a single or both papers if he meets the essential qualifications. Here, we are discussing its eligibility criteria and other necessary information below.

3rd November to 23rd November 2023.		 ♣Application Charges
•Single Paper I or II→Rs 1000/-(SC/ST/PH Rs 500 only)
•Paper I & II→Rs 1200/-(SC/ST/PH Rs 600 only)

Qualification for the CTET Exam
For Class I-V Primary Stage:

All the candidates who appeared in the early final year exam for Teachers’ training.
Qualification and teachers training are:-
♦ Senior Secondary or its equivalent with 50% Marks. 
And

  •  Two years Diploma in Elementary Education. (By whatever name known). Or
  • Four Year Bachelor of elementary education. (B.El.Ed). Or
  • Two Years Diploma in Education(Special Education)  Or
  • Bachelor degree with 50% marks and Bachelor of Education(B.ed).
Elementary Stage Class VI-Viii

For the teaching job of the Elementary stage, the candidates have to apply for the paper-II. 

The candidate who appeared in the final year exam of degree or teacher training can also apply to this CET exam of July 2024. 
•Graduation with 50% marks and D.El.Ed or B.Ed.
♦ Senior Secondary or its equivalent and four years of Bachelor in Elementary Education.
♦Senior Secondary Education and four years B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed
♦ Graduation with 50% marks and 1 Year B.ed. 
♦ Any candidates having a B.ed program recognized by NCTE are eligible for this Central TET Exam.
